Biography
For the past two years Chicago based band Veil Of Maya have been touring non stop booking their own tours and self producing their own material with the "Do It Yourself" attitude. It wasn't until this past year when the band caught the attention of Sumerian Records who attended a live show of the band after being handed their full length "All Things Set Aside." Sumerian founder Ash Avildsen had this to say about the band. "Veil Of Maya's work ethic and dedication not only speaks for itself, but so does their level of musicianship and songwriting. Very few bands can authentically mix elements of progressive metal, melodic death metal, thrash and hardcore brutality all while keeping the listener constantly interested. Veil Of Maya does this and that's why they will have a career for years to come."
