Biography

Stefan Zoerner and Andy Horn began their cooperation long before this common project. In 1996 Andy first met Stefan with his band Lanfear at the Audicom-Studio in Heilbronn there he engineered and co-produced their debut album "Towers".

They kept in contact and so the second CD from Lanfear "Zero Poems" was again produced by Andy and recorded at his own studio "Famous Kitchen" in Adelsheim. After finishing the successful "Zero Poems" they decided to work on new material for an own project. A friendship and the vision of Zhorn was born.

In the meantime Stefan and Lanfear split because of some difference but without bad blood. Then, in winter 2001, Andy and Stefan began the recordings for their first CD "Z Comes First", ...the time has come for Zhorn. They forced themselves to record the album they've always dreamed of, with songs in the vein of their influences out of the 80's and 90's.
